Schools in New Zealand - Orientation
The type of induction program offered to international students depends on the institution. Language schools normally involve guided tours and tour lectures. Schools may offer printed material to guide international students or compulsory orientation programs to enable them to get to know their fellow students and teachers.
Tertiary students are offered often compulsory orientation programmes in their first year at uni where they may be given a guided tour followed by a general question and answer session.
